Dance woven is dance describing  women's woven fabric made in Bali (a type of traditional cloth East Bali). From this history compelled the author's inspiration for this Dance are woven to create a masterpiece dance which until now is still preserved by the younger generation of Bali for the sake of fixed eksisnya culture in Bali. Pendet Dance From Bali

Pendet dance was originally a cult of the many practiced in the temple, the place of worship of Hindus in Bali, Indonesia. The History of the Old Mask Dance

History Of The Sidakarya Mask

    The story purportedly took place in the reign of Dalem Waturenggong in Gelgel, when he is hold big ceremony in Besakih Temple. Many pandita who was invited for lead in this ceremony. came the pandita (Brahmana) of the sakti from keling, who was not invited in a ceremony that, but wanted to involved lead the ceremony.

   His intention is because it is based on the relationship of kinship between keling in Java and gelgel in Bali therefore he came. Unfortunately, because of the trip a far away and for days, pandita keling until at Gelgel in condition the shabby , his clothes in tatters, resemble a beggar.In is such clothes, no one people  staff empire believes these uninvited guests a pastor. then, Pandita keling evicted out by forcibly, having previously had insulted.

  Pandita keling went with a grudge. In the place deserted, he did resistance with pronounce spell that contains an yadnya oath that in give to Dalem Waturenggong. the oath it contained that the ceremony performed by dalem waturenggong doesn't run smoothly even cause disasters. All Banten become rotten and rats damaging Banten a foul it. Rats are more many to ruin the crop farmers. The people become restless.

  King Dalem Waturenggong knowing that who make the ceremony was not successful is pandita keling. He sent the Arya Tangkas to pick up pandite keling into the place deserted it and pandita keling most welcome to lead the ceremony until complete and final the ceremony it went with smoothly.This procession for the community most of the then called pamuput Sidakarya.

From the legend that the Hindu community in Bali then making Sidakarya mask. his form face Ugly with his teeth forward as a symbol of pandita who look like a bum.  Therefore, Sidakarya Mask dancer  usually more close the faces (especially the mouth) with white cloth which he carried.However, the spell that is pronounced very have meaning because it is done with  ngider buwana  (to any direction). HISTORY OF THE BARONG DANCE

  Barong is a traditional Balinese dances are characterized by the mask and costume bodies that can be worn by one or two people to menarikannya. In Bali there are several types of barong like Barong Ket, Barong Bangkal, Barong Landung, Barong Macan, Barong Gajah, Barong Asu, Barong Brutuk, Barong Lembu, Barong Kedingkling, Barong Kambing, dan Barong Gagombrangan.

Types of Barong in Bali :

1. Barong Ket atau Barong Keket

   Barong Ket is a combination form between a lion, Tiger, cow and the Dragon. The body of Barong ket adorned with leather of carving who intricate and hundreds of small-sized mirror glass. Glass-glass mirror it like gems and looks glistening  when the of overwritten light.  Fleece Barong Ket made from a combination of perasok (fibre leaves a type of plant of pandanus ) and oil. 2. Barong Landung

Barong-barong was given the role of the  Mantri (King), Galuh (Empress), Limbur (maidens) and so on. if you look barong landung almost alike with Ondel-ondel who situated in Jakarta.

3. Barong Bangkal

   Barong resembling the adult pigs. In Bali, the adult male pig called bangkal, whereas the females are named bangkung. That's why Barong type of this , also known with the Barong Bangkung. Usually the Barong Bangkal staged by way of ngelelawang or dancing from door to door driving around the village at the time of the feast of Galungan-kuningan.

4. Barong Macan
  As the name implies, this barong resembles a Macan. This type of barong is quite popular among people of Bali. Staging the  barong this alike with barong bangkal , namely ngelawang toured the village. sometimes staging this barong is equipped with some kind of dramatari Arja (traditional Balinese opera).

5. Barong Brutuk
    Barong Brutuk dance types include rare performed only at special moment. this Barong has a more primitive form compared to the other types of Balinese barong. This barong mask made from coconut shell and a costume made of keraras or banana leaves that have already dried. Barong is symbolic of the sacred beings (the accompanist Ratu Pancering Jagat) that the palace in temple Pancering Jagat, Trunyan.
