The History of the Old Mask Dance

   Mask dance is part of traditional Balinese dance drama. In addition to staged as live entertainment, there is also a type of mask dance which became a complement of religious ceremonies. One mask dance that has a function in the second of these is the old mask dance, also called dance lumaku werda.
